Yeh course kya hai? What this course is
Hum kya sikhate hain, kaise sikhate hain, aur aakhir mein aap kya kar payenge. What we teach, how we teach it, and what you'll be able to do by the end.
Pakistan mein zyada tar log English ke liye naye nahi hain. School mein saalon parhi hai, aur kaafi words bhi aate hain. Phir bhi jab khud se ek email, ek message ya do saaf lines likhni hon, to atak jaate hain.
Masla mushkil words ki kami nahi hai, aur na hi accent. Masla yeh hai ke English pe itna control nahi ke us mein soch kar ek saaf sentence bana sakein.
Yeh course isi control ke liye hai.
Writing se shuru kyun?
Bolte waqt sochne ka time nahi milta. Likhte waqt milta hai. Aap sentence bana sakte hain, apni ghalti dekh sakte hain, aur usay theek kar sakte hain.
Isi liye writing is course ki bunyaad hai. Jo control likhne mein aata hai, woh aage chal kar chat aur baat cheet mein bhi nazar aata hai.
Hum chhote se shuru karte hain aur dheere dheere aage barhte hain: pehle words, phir sentences, phir chhote paragraphs, aur aakhir mein messages aur articles.
12 tenses, ek doosre ke saath
Course ka base English ke 12 tenses hain: present, past aur future, aur har ek ki chaar forms (simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous).
Hum tenses ko alag alag rules ki tarah ratta nahi lagwate. Hum ek hi baat ko mukhtalif tenses mein rakh kar dikhate hain, taake farq saaf nazar aaye:
I write. → I am writing. → I have written. → I have been writing.
Har sentence mein kaam wahi hai, bas waqt aur kaam ki halat badalti hai. Jab yeh farq samajh aa jaye, to tense ratta lagane wala rule nahi rehta, ek tool ban jata hai.
Grammar ke baaqi hisse, jaise articles, prepositions, punctuation aur vocabulary, alag theory chapters nahi banenge. Woh sentences banate hue baar baar saamne aayenge, aur jahan zaroori ho wahan unhein naam le kar samjhaya jayega.
Har lesson kaise chalta hai
Har lesson ek hi pattern follow karta hai:
- Dekhiye: naya pattern, us ka matlab, aur ek saaf example.
- Mukabla kijiye: milte julte forms ko saath rakh kar farq dekhiye.
- Badliye: sentence ko negative, question, ya kisi aur tense mein badliye.
- Control kijiye: sentences complete kijiye, sahi order mein lagaiye, ghaltiyan theek kijiye.
- Likhiye: usi pattern mein apne chhote sentences likhiye.
- Istemal kijiye: wahi language chat aur baat cheet mein laaiye.
- Dohraiye: purane patterns mixed practice mein wapas aate rahenge, taake bhoolein nahi.
Har lesson mein kuch na kuch likhna hoga, chahe lesson grammar ka hi kyun na ho. Writing ko aakhir tak nahi taala jayega.
Course ka raasta
Course ka order kuch is tarah hai:
- Sentence basics: word order, subject aur verb, positive aur negative sentences
- Present time: present simple aur present continuous, aur dono ka farq
- Past time: past simple aur past continuous
- Future time: will, going to, aur future continuous
- Perfect forms: present, past aur future perfect
- Perfect continuous forms: jab baaqi forms pakke ho jayein
- Sentence transformations: questions, negatives, tense badalna, ideas jodna
- Writing: messages, descriptions, paragraphs, opinions aur chhote articles
Yeh kitaab abhi likhi ja rahi hai. Chapters waqt ke saath aate rahenge, aur order thoda badal bhi sakta hai.
Aakhir mein aap kya kar payenge
- Bade tense patterns ko samajh kar sahi jagah use karna
- Ek idea ko kai sahi sentences mein kehna
- Jude hue sentences aur chhote paragraphs khud likhna
- Aam, kaam ke words sahi tarah use karna, mushkil words ke bagair
- Yahi control messages, baat cheet aur rozmarra ki communication mein le jaana
Hum kya nahi sikha rahe
Native jaisa accent is course ka goal nahi, aur na hi mushkil words ki lambi lists. Goal yeh hai ke aap ki baat saaf samajh aaye, grammar sahi ho, aur aap confidence se English use kar sakein.
Pehla qadam
Agla chapter, "Pehle picture, phir word", is poore course ki soch hai: English ko Urdu ke zariye nahi, seedha us ke matlab se jodna. Wahin se shuru kijiye.
Most people in Pakistan are not new to English. They studied it in school for years, and they know plenty of words. Yet when they have to write an email, a message, or even two clear lines on their own, they get stuck.
The problem isn't a lack of difficult words, and it isn't accent. The problem is not having enough control over English to think in it and build a clear sentence.
This course is about building that control.
Why start with writing?
When you speak, there is no time to think. When you write, there is. You can build a sentence, spot your mistake, and fix it.
That's why writing is the foundation of this course. The control you build in writing later shows up in your chats and conversations too.
We start small and grow step by step: first words, then sentences, then short paragraphs, and finally messages and articles.
12 tenses, side by side
The course is built on the 12 English tenses: present, past, and future, each in four forms (simple, continuous, perfect, perfect continuous).
We don't make you memorize each tense as a separate rule. We put the same idea into different tenses so the difference is easy to see:
I write. → I am writing. → I have written. → I have been writing.
The action stays the same in every sentence; only the time and the state of the action change. Once that difference is clear, a tense stops being a rule to memorize and becomes a tool.
The rest of grammar, such as articles, prepositions, punctuation, and vocabulary, won't get separate theory chapters. You'll meet them again and again while building sentences, and they'll be named and explained wherever they matter.
How each lesson works
Every lesson follows the same pattern:
- Notice: the new pattern, its meaning, and a clear example.
- Compare: put related forms side by side and see the difference.
- Transform: turn a sentence into a negative, a question, or another tense.
- Control: complete sentences, put them in order, and correct mistakes.
- Write: write a few short sentences of your own using the pattern.
- Use: bring the same language into chats and conversation.
- Review: older patterns keep coming back in mixed practice, so you don't forget them.
Every lesson asks you to write something, even when the lesson is about grammar. Writing is not left until the end.
The path
The course runs roughly in this order:
- Sentence basics: word order, subject and verb, positive and negative sentences
- Present time: present simple and present continuous, and the difference between them
- Past time: past simple and past continuous
- Future time: will, going to, and future continuous
- Perfect forms: present, past, and future perfect
- Perfect continuous forms: once the other forms feel solid
- Sentence transformations: questions, negatives, changing tense, joining ideas
- Writing: messages, descriptions, paragraphs, opinions, and short articles
This book is still being written. Chapters will keep arriving, and the order may change a little.
What you'll be able to do
- Understand the main tense patterns and use each in the right place
- Say one idea in several correct sentences
- Write connected sentences and short paragraphs on your own
- Use ordinary, useful words correctly, without relying on difficult ones
- Carry that control into messages, conversations, and everyday communication
What we're not teaching
A native-like accent is not the goal of this course, and neither are long lists of difficult words. The goal is for you to be clearly understood, use correct grammar, and use English with confidence.
The first step
The next chapter, "Picture first, then the word", is the mindset behind the whole course: connecting English straight to its meaning, not through Urdu. Start there.
